Qualifications

·   25+ year’s work experience as a UNIX/Linux Systems Administrator.

·   Understanding of Infrastructure as a Service – IaaS (Red Hat OpenStack) and Platform as a Service – PaaS (Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Jboss Enterprise Application Platform) technologies.

·   Experience implementing and managing high availability (HA), scalable, and clustered enterprise class server environments in compliance with service level agreements (SLA) and project requirements.

·   Understanding of UNIX (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, IRIX) and Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, SLES (SuSE Linux Enterprise Server)) operating systems, user/group management, filesystem and storage management, system services, TCP/IP services, system security, networking protocols and kernel modifications (building kernels, parameters).
